Regulations and Policies

Conditions of eligibility
Legal Canadian residents who have reached the age of majority in the province or territory where they reside are eligible to participate in the contest. One entry per customer only. Entrance is restricted to individuals who are not affiliated with Ella and Ross Canada Ltd. ("Ella and Ross Canada") or its parent companies, including their spouses, parents, siblings, and children, as well as those who reside with an employee of the aforementioned organizations.

The contest commences on the initial day of each month and concludes on the final day of that month. Entrants are encouraged to share a photograph of a room in their residence adorned with furnishings and/or embellishments from Ella and Ross Canada on Instagram. Shortly thereafter each month, a select council of Ella and Ross Canada judges determines the winner. You are eligible to receive a $150 Ellaandross.ca Gift Card if your room is chosen.

How To Enter Requires No Purchase. You may only enter the contest by creating or maintaining an Instagram account.

In order to be eligible for entry, simply share a photograph of a room that has been furnished and/or accented with Ella and Ross Canada products on Instagram. The hashtags #ELLAANDROSSCA are required. Every photo submission must adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Photo Entry Rules.

Online acquisitions

Your submitted photo must:

a. be published exclusively on your Instagram feed, incorporating the specified hashtag.

b. be an original work of yours and a photograph that you have captured exclusively.

C. not infringe upon the copyright, preservation, improvement, or modification of a third party's pre-existing work; c. refrain from infringing upon the rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyright infringement. For instance, it is imperative that your photo submission does not engage in activities that defame, infringe, violate, or infringe upon the publicity or privacy rights of any living or deceased individual, or otherwise infringe upon the personal or proprietary rights of any organization or person (including intellectual property rights); d. does not contain explicit or offensive material, as solely and absolutely determined by Ella and Ross Canada; e. does not contain any commercial content that endorses a product or service.

Prizes a. Competition One (1) monthly contest grand prize consisting of a $150 (MAXIMUM) Ellaandross.ca E-Gift Card will be awarded. $150 CAD is the approximate retail value ("ARV"). During the contest period, the total number and quality of eligible submissions received will determine the odds of winning.

Prizes must be accepted in their bestowed state. There will be no financial equivalents awarded, and all prizes are non-transferable and non-substitutable, unless otherwise determined in the sole discretion of Ella and Ross Canada. For any reason, Ella and Ross Canada reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its place if a prize is unavailable. The prize recipient or user is liable for all taxes, fees, and costs associated with the prize.

All prize details are subject to the sole discretion of Ella and Ross Canada. THE TOTAL ARV (CAD) of all prizes is $150. These prizes are non-transferable and non-transferable for monetary value. Ella and Ross Canada retains the prerogative to disqualify any submission without prior notification and to modify or terminate the competition as needed due to a reasonable doubt, fraud, technical malfunction, or other unforeseen circumstance. The judges' decision is conclusive in nature. No purchase is required to gain access. Prior to being chosen, candidates must answer an unassisted, time-limited skill assessment question accurately, which will be administered by Ella and Ross Canada.

Winner Confirmation

A monthly victor will be announced on Instagram by Ella and Ross Canada on the first monday of the subsequent month. After being contacted by Ella and Ross Canada, the successful entrants will be required to communicate with the organization via the email address supplied, within a period of five business days. Failure to validate one's address with Ella and Ross Canada within a period of three business days will result in disqualification and the judges will designate an alternate potential winner. Upon request, evidence of identification must be presented. A waiver must be executed by the contest winner prior to and in conjunction with receiving the prize. Failure to subscribe to our newsletter will have no bearing on the evaluation of your entry. The recipient will be awarded the prize within one month of the announcement date.

Behaviour and Restrictions on Liability

It is important to acknowledge that by participating in this competition and uploading a photograph of your room, you grant Ella and Ross Canada permission to publish the image, along with your Instagram or Twitter handle, on our website, Instagram feed, Twitter feed, Facebook page, and in our email newsletter. All applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations govern this competition.

Ella and Ross Canada does not accept any responsibility or liability for the following: (i) entries that are lost, stolen, submitted late, delayed, damaged, mutilated, garbled, illegible, incomplete, or misdirected (any illegible entries shall be deemed null and void); (ii) technical issues or malfunctions affecting computer online systems or servers, telephone networks or lines, websites, or computer software; (iii) damage to communications caused by entrants or any individual; and (III) damage to property belonging to entrants or others. If there is a disagreement regarding the submission of an entry, the Authorized Account Holder whose email address was provided at the time of entry will be deemed to have made the entry. The term "Authorized Account Holder" refers to the person to whom the domain-responsible organization assigns an email address.

Engaging in any activity that affects the entry process, compromises the official contest rules and regulations, intentionally causes damage to a website, or undermines the administration, security, or legitimate operation of the contest constitutes a criminal and civil violation. Ella and Ross Canada retains the prerogative to pursue legal action against those responsible to the maximum extent permitted by law, including the possibility of banning or disqualifying entries.

Protection of Personal Information >Ella and Ross Canada will only collect any personally identifiable information from contestants for the administration of this initiative. Entrants will not receive any additional correspondence unless they grant Ella and Ross Canada permission to do so. Regarding Ella and Ross Canada's approach to safeguarding the privacy and integrity of personal information, please refer to the organization's Privacy Policy located at ellaandross.ca.
